Get Help

1. Ask Your Professor

First and foremost, if you are struggling on an assignment, start by contacting your professor or visiting their office hours. Since that professor will be the person grading the assignment, they are in the best position to provide guidance on how you can successfully complete it.

Before seeking any additional help, check your syllabus and confirm with your professor that you may do so. Under Article IV, Section B.2 of the Moritz College of Law Honor Code, a professor may prohibit students from seeking or receiving any "aid or assistance" on their coursework.

This restriction is particularly common in first year legal writing courses, where students are learning how to structure a piece of legal writing, how to self-assess their work, and how to incorporate and build upon their professor's feedback.

2. Ask a Law Librarian

Have questions related to legal research? Law librarians are legal information specialists that can assist you with research and reference questions related to your coursework, scholarship, extracurriculars, and prospective careers.

Visit the Reference Desk or find our contact information on the Ask A Librarian page, where you can email, live chat, or set up a meeting with us.

3. Ask a Vendor

Contact the vendor for help with password problems, access issues, and questions related to new features.
