COVID-19 Policies

In an effort to keep our communities safe and to follow university coronavirus (COVID-19) policies, the library has modified its policies regarding use of the library space and many in-person services. For more information and to keep up to date on services are available, please view our COVID-19 Library Update guide here: https://moritzlaw.osu.libguides.com/COVIDLibraryUpdate

The reference desk will not be staffed in person. Instead, please contact the reference librarians by phone, email, or live chat, as described below.

Reference Librarians

Reference librarians are available to offer guidance on your research projects. Reach us in person or by phone, email, or live chat.

Reference Hours
Mon-Fri: 10:00am-4:00pm*

You can also contact a specific reference librarian for assistance:

* Holiday hours may differ; see our Hours page for more information

The law library recommends that anyone taking or considering legal action consult with an attorney. The law librarians will not give legal advice or interpret legal materials.

Chat with a Librarian

Chat with a librarian during reference hours, which are Mon-Fri, 10am-4pm. If chat is offline, email your question to lawlibref@osu.edu, and we will respond as soon as we can.

Live chat works best for relatively straightforward questions. If you have a complicated question or project, please call the reference desk at (614) 292-9463 or visit the Moritz Law Library on the second floor of Drinko Hall for assistance.

Due to COVID-19, the reference librarians will remotely staff the reference desk. Students can schedule a Zoom conference with a reference librarian using our Research Consultation Request form.
